District of Columbia Debtor Education Course

DebtorEdu.com provides District of Columbia residents with an online version of the Debtor Education Course. The pre-discharge bankruptcy course is approved by the U.S. Trustee's Office and is available in both English and Spanish.

The 2005 amendments to the Bankruptcy Code require debtors to complete a second bankruptcy course prior to receiving a bankruptcy discharge. This course is also known as the debtor education course, post-bankruptcy counseling, post-bankruptcy course, pre-discharge course or the post-filing bankruptcy debtor education course.

DebtorEdu.com provides the District of Columbia second bankruptcy course in both written and audio formats and provides the post-filing bankruptcy certificate immediately after completion of the course. The post-bankruptcy counseling is a no-fail course (you cannot fail the course).
